Christopher Wright is Chairman and a co-founder of EMAlternatives LLC in Washington DC, an emerging markets focused private equity asset management firm and a director of Merifin Capital Group, a privately owned European based investment company. Until mid-2003 he served as Head of Global Private Equity for Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and was a Group Board Member of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson working in New York, London and Frankfurt with responsibility for c$5bn in alternative assets in developed and emerging markets. He is currently non-executive Chairman of Maxcess International Corporation, a co-founding director of Roper Industries Inc (NYSE), a director of IDOX PLC (AIM) and of Yatra Capital Ltd (Euronext). He has chaired the investment committees of and/or serves on several advisory boards of third party managed LBO and venture capital funds in North America and Europe. Mr Wright has advised various financial institutions and family offices, including Hansa Capital, CdB Webtech, Standard Bank of South Africa, and IDeA Alternative Investments on their investments in private equity and other alternative assets. He is Foundation Fellow, Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
