Our report addresses the rise of these specialist approaches to climate within private equity, infrastructure and private credit.

While investor demand for climate solutions is well documented, the supply of private capital strategies addressing the climate crisis is less covered.

With reference to the Project Drawdown framework, we look at the specialist strategies emerging to target particular sources of emissions as well as the sub sectors and amount of capital being raised. We also look to the future and investing in natural capital beyond emissions.

Based on our analysis of the climate change landscape in private markets:

• $129 billion is being raised or was recently raised for private capital strategies focused on one emissions source
• $54 billion is being raised or was recently raised for private capital strategies focused on multiple emissions sources
